Kinetix Tennis Policies, Rules, & Guidelines

Members and Guests 

  • Members and guests must be in good standing with the club financially (dues paid) and behaviorally
  • Exhibit good sportsmanship on the court
  • Refrain from obscene language on the court and in the building
  • Wear appropriate tennis clothing (no sleeveless shirts for men, no black soled sneakers)
  • Alcohol is not permitted on the premises unless in the designated areas
  • Abide to the current COVID-19 Club Guidelines
  • All guests and members must sign a waiver
  • All member guests must check-in at the Welcome Center
  • Kinetix Tennis reserves the right to refuse the reservation of courts or class admission for any reason reasonable 

Kinetix Tennis Members and Guests May Never

  • Verbally harass or abuse other members, guest, staff or visitors
  • Threaten anyone verbally or physically with violence or act violently
  • Abuse the court or facility
  • Throw or abuse racquets and equipment
  • Be visibly intoxicated or are under the influence of drugs
  • Exhibit excessive audible volume

Members, guests, or visitors to the club who violate the Code of Conduct may be subject to suspension from the club

Physical violence or other unlawful behavior will result in immediate suspension from the club

Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with as follows

  • First Offense: verbal and/or written warning
  • Second Offense: indefinite suspension
  • Third Offense: permanent suspension

It is the member and guest responsibility to abide by these rules and regulations.

Your safety is our number priority at Kinetix Tennis

  • All Players MUST check in at the Welcome Center
  • Waiver must be signed prior to playing on the Kinetix Tennis Courts
    • Electronic waiver available
  • Masks must be worn in lobby and gathering/common areas
  • Please sanitize hands prior to entering the courts
  • Please wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds upon arrival
  • If you have been sick in the last 24 hours please stay home
  • If you have or somebody you have come in contact with has visited a state listed on The Pa Health Department travel advisory in the past two weeks you are not permitted to enter the club
  • Booking of courts only 7 days in advance
  • No towel or locker service or shower service
  • Must bring your own water
  • Tennis viewing area – one family member only please (no additional people)

In addition to the club rules and guidelines we are also following the recommendations of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, CDC, and USTA

Payment & Refund Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service
  • If payment is not made the same day, additional charges could apply
  • Payment must be made in full
  • If your credit card is on file with the club, Kinetix Tennis reserves the right to authorize payment for outstanding dues
  • All programs are non-refundable
  • Summer Camp is not refundable

 

Make-up Policies for Junior Instruction

  • Class make-up must occur within the same session as the missed class
  • Make-ups may not carry over to the next session
  • Make-ups will not be given as future monetary credit
  • Missed classes must be informed prior to the missed class in order to receive a make-up – notice after the class has passed will not be eligible for make-up

 

Cancellation Policies

  • Adults can cancel a drop-in class registration two or more hours prior to class and not incur a cancellation fee
  • Adult clinic no show for class without informing the Welcome Center – class cost + $10 processing fee
  • Adult Clinic – late un-registration fee (under two hours from the start of the class) – cost of the class
  • Junior Class and Camps are non-refundable – house credit could apply where available – clinics and camps have a non-refundable 50% deposit built into cost
  • Private Lesson cancellation under four hours will result in a $45 payment fee
  • Court reservations cancellation must be be made two hours in advance to avoid charges of $15
  • Memberships are non-refundable
